LOCAL AWARDS MEAN BUSINESS WITH ENTRIES SOARING!

Since their launch in February, entry submissions have been outstanding for this year’s Bangor Business Awards.  With even more entries than last year to date, the independent judging panel are facing some difficult decisions, as competition is stiff and entry standards are high across the various categories.

The awards, organised by Bangor and Holywood Town Centre Management and Bangor Chamber of Commerce, and supported this year by their Principal Sponsor, Spectator Newspapers, are a well acknowledged event in the Bangor business calendar, and a great occasion to highlight those local businesses who have made significant contributions to the local community and economy.

The Gala Dinner and Awards Ceremony will take place in the Clandeboye Lodge Hotel, on Thursday 21st May 2009.  The night promises to be memorable, filled with excitement, entertainment and excellent networking opportunities.  Leading NI comedian, Sean Crummey will host the evening and will also entertain us with insights of Northern Ireland’s political life from his BBC series “Folks on the Hill”.

Now in its 9th consecutive year, tickets for the Bangor Business Awards are selling fast, and to avoid disappointment, it is recommended that you call Bangor and Holywood Town Centre Management on 028 9147 9651 to reserve and purchase your tickets.

If you have not entered the awards as yet and would like to, you can do so up until Friday 27th March 2009; to request a brochure for more information on entering, please call the awards helpline on 028 9181 9701 or email BBA09@xl-ents.co.uk .
