The Easter Bank Holiday marks the end of a generally tough quarter for retailers. Many consumers use the first months after Christmas to repay debts and begin saving for the year ahead and as Easter rolls around they tend to be more relaxed with their spending.
In North Down, Easter represents the return of the annual Easter Parade which this year will be following the theme of “The Day we went to Bangor”. The Parade which will begin at 3pm is estimated to attract more than 15,000 people into the town.
There will also be a number of family activities taking place at the McKee Clock Arena with Eddie Irvine Karting and live DJ. The promenade will host a climbing wall and laser clay pigeon shooting. Trial Star will also be putting on bike displays in the Sunken Gardens.
