The Easter Bank Holiday is one of the most important trading periods for retailers after Christmas and many will hope that following a tough period on the High Street it will signal the start of a consumer-spending spree.

A good period of weather over the Easter weekend would be beneficial to gardening and hardware stores and most other retailers as many consumers see the extended weekend as a chance to hit the shops and enjoy the good weather.

North Down will also be hoping to have a good period of weather over the Bank Holiday, North Down Borough Council Tourism Team have organised a Peter Pan, Easter Parade on Easter Monday and with an excess of 15,000 people expected to attend, retailers in Bangor can look forward to a busy day!  For more information on the Easter Parade please contact Tower House on 028 9127 0069.
