BLOOMING MARVELLOUS

 

Following the success in recent years, Town Centre Management, in partnership with the local Chambers of Commerce, will once again be offering businesses the opportunity to participate in its summer Hanging Basket Scheme.

 

In 2006 Bangor won a Bronze Achievement Award in the ‘Britain in Bloom’ competition and this year efforts are once again being made to secure the Gold Award for both towns.

 

In Holywood, our hanging baskets compliment the introduction of new trees recently planted throughout the town from donations by local businesses and individuals.  By participating in our hanging basket scheme local businesses are supporting the positive “greening” Holywood's townscape. 

 

The cost of a hanging basket is £60 per unit, if a member of the Chamber of Commerce and £65 for non-members.  The initial price includes:

• Basket
• Wall Bracket
• Bracket installation
• Flower Fill
• Weekly watering (if located on a main urban thoroughfare)
• Winter storage
• Sterilisation
• 10- year basket guarantee
