Since June 2005 Optimum Real Estate has very effectively and efficiently been selling a range of residential property and has met and exceeded the high demands set by the property selling public. “Research tells us that of all residential property that is purchased, around 85-90% starts with an Internet search. Of the remainder, some is purchased after contact by the agent (about 5%), some after the purchaser sees the For Sale signage (about 5%), and some when the property is viewed in the newspaper (about 1%). “On-line” estate agency merely dispenses with the high street shop front. Everything else remains in place.”

Optimum Real Estate does not charge its clients for an expensive high street presence that, Trevor argues, has more to do with advertising the estate agency than advertising the properties. Instead Optimum Real Estate focuses its efforts on those things necessary to actually sell property.

Optimum Real Estate has positioned itself at the high quality end of this market. However, this remains significantly less expensive than any high street agency. Trevor points out that, as with all types of estate agency, there is considerable variation in the quality of agency that exists and he firmly believes the old adage holds true within each sector that ‘you get what you pay for’.
